A quick video sampler:

"Safe Haven" was written in 2013 for the UNL Faculty Jazz Ensemble, which at the time had seven members. In 2014 Dr. Eric Richards asked me to arrange it for big band, with the idea that he would further orchestrate my arrangement for the UNL Jazz Orchestra 2.0, an ensemble that included a string quartet. This video is of the group's premier performance in December 2014.

In 2004 I was commissioned to score the documentary film Will Cather: The Road is All, a program that aired on PBS as part of the American Masters series. This is the opening 6:00 sequence.

In January 2015, my colleague Hans Sturm and I did a recital of the music of Joan Wildman, an avant-garde composer and pianist from Madison, Wisconsin. Here we are performing her tune "Randu."

This is the opening sequence to the 2012 PBS documentary Great Plains: America's Lingering Wild, featuring the photography and conservation efforts of Michael Forsberg.
