"Safe Haven" was written in 2013 for the UNL Faculty Jazz Ensemble, which at the time had seven members. In 2014, Dr. Eric Richards asked me to arrange it for big band, with the idea that he would further orchestrate my arrangement for the UNL Jazz Orchestra 2.0, an ensemble that included a string quartet. This video is of the group's premiere performance in December 2014

In 2010 the Glenn Korff School of Music Faculty Jazz Ensemble was featured on Nebraska Public Media’s Jazz Cabaret. Here is my tune “Luke” from that program.
